Cybint Reinforces Commitment to Higher-Ed with Strong Presence at 3CS Community College Cyber Summit

CYBINT NEWS / OREGON / AUGUST 16, 2018 – Global cyber education leader Cybint, a BARBRI company, supported and sponsored the recent 2018 Community College Cyber Summit, the nation’s only academic conference focused on cybersecurity education at community colleges.

Cybint CEO Roy Zur addressed an audience of approximately 200 attendees with his insightful keynote, The Cyber Security Education of Tomorrow – new horizons, hands-on skills and advanced learning tools and methods. Zur’s presentation addressed the growing need for cyber skills among professionals, best practices for cyber education inclusion in curricula, and an overview of the three critical levels of cyber education, cyberliteracy, hands-on skills, and advanced specialized training.

Within the Cybint conference booth, the company also offered complimentary consultations, access to learning resources such as webinars and white papers, and the opportunity for colleges to award cybersecurity scholarships to their students.

“Educators realize that cyber knowledge is increasingly important across all disciplines in our workforce, yet are often unsure of how to successfully incorporate relevant programming into their offerings,” said Zur. “Our goal at Cybint is to partner with institutions such as those in the community college sector to offer educational resources to create a more cyber-savvy workforce overall and the in-depth hands-on training for those seeking careers in cybersecurity.”

Cybint will play a major support/sponsorship role for the 2019 3CS event which will be hosted by Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) in Louisiana. Cybint and BPCC recently partnered on the first-ever Cyber Range Competition and Workshop event for Louisiana professionals. The unique cyber experience included an educational session led by global cyber experts and a cybersecurity competition set within one of the world’s most advanced Cyber Range environments.
